- The 16th round of negotiations for the Japan-Australia Economic
Partnership Agreement (EPA) will be held in Tokyo from Wednesday, June
13 to Friday, June 15.
- The participants in the meeting
will be: on the Japanese side, Mr. Shinichi Nishimiya, Deputy Minister
for Foreign Affairs and other officials from relevant Japanese
ministries; and on the Australian side, Ms. Jan Adams, First Assistant
Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and other officials
from relevant departments of Australia.
- Among the issues that will be discussed in the meeting are trade in goods and services, investment, energy and mineral resources, and food supply.
